Registered general nurse for 36 years. Experience to ward sister level in NHS hospitals. Community nurse experience in the patients own home. Voluntary nursing work overseas. 

 

Jenny Hepenstall-Brown is a foot care specialist serving the areas of Bradford-on-Avon, Trowbridge, Westbury, Corsham, Devizes. Since qualifying, Jenny has assisted patients with a variety of different foot problems, all in the comfort of their own homes. 

 

"Many of the people who come to me are older people who can no longer take care of their own feet, but I can also help people who are younger," says Jenny. "Some people come to me with chronic pain. I can also see clients who work full-time outside normal working hours." 

 

Jenny allocates plenty of time to each appointment, which means patients will never feel rushed. The home visits provide a relaxing atmosphere and a chance for a friendly chat.

Jenny now works with nurses from the TRANSFORMING CARE FOR OLDER PEOPLE INITIATIVE, to treat feet and toenails at Bradford-on-Avon and Melksham Leg Clubs on a monthly basis.

Jenny also visits several local nursing and residential homes on a regular basis to give foot care.
